About Our Founder
You Don't Need Someone to Fix You. You Need Someone Who Understands the Way Through.
I’m not here to be your therapist, your guru, or another person you become dependent on for reassurance.
I’m a guide.
I spent 15 years living inside the world of anxiety and nervous system sensitization—terrifying physical sensations, intrusive thoughts, DP/DR, constant monitoring, fear, panic attacks, depression and the exhausting search for the thing that would finally make it all stop.
What I eventually discovered was that recovery wasn't about becoming better at controlling what I felt. It was about learning how to respond differently to what I felt.
That understanding became the REST Response.
Recognize. Embrace. Soften. Turn.
REST is a practical framework for changing your relationship with the signals of a sensitized nervous system.
We learn to Recognize what is happening without immediately becoming consumed by the story around it.
We Embrace the sensations, thoughts, and emotions that are already here rather than entering another battle with them.
We Soften the instinctive resistance—the bracing, fighting, checking, controlling, avoiding, and searching for certainty.
And then we Turn back toward life.
Not because the anxiety has disappeared.
Because life doesn't have to wait for it to disappear.
My role as your guide isn't to carry you through recovery. It's to help you discover that you can carry yourself through it.
I'll help you understand sensitization, recognize the patterns that keep the fear cycle alive, work through the moments when everything you've learned suddenly feels impossible, and begin building something far more valuable than another coping technique: trust in yourself.
I won't measure your recovery by whether you had anxiety today. We'll look at how you responded when it showed up.
Because recovery isn't a performance.
It's a practice.
Over time, the goal is that you need me less—not more. You begin recognizing the signals yourself. You stop treating every difficult day as evidence that something has gone wrong. You become less afraid of what you feel. Your world begins expanding again.
And somewhere along the way, something changes.
You're no longer waiting for your nervous system to give you permission to live.
You'll be leading yourself again.
That's what I offer through the REST Response:
Not a promise that I'll take your anxiety away.
A way to help you stop organizing your life around it—and guide you toward becoming the person who knows how to move through the noise, trust yourself, and continue living.
I know this terrain because I've walked it.
Now, I'd be honored to walk beside you while you learn how to navigate it for yourself.
Sincerely,
Parag Gangwal, Founder & Guide
